Builder's Story
John Schwab and his Talon Homes building team share a vision in home building. They believe in building homes that are part of a community and provide for long term independence. They offer the buyer flexibility, exceed the building standards set by building inspectors, and still deliver a price that’s affordable. At James River Commons, no two houses have the same interior design; each house is personalized, and individual needs can be accommodated.
James River Commons came about because “We found a unique piece of property that was a designated school site. The relief in the ground inspired our creativity, and we had a vision. We saw the beauty in the land, which has a pleasing vista and is not flat fields as so many modern developments are. It creates both community and privacy. Where other builders may not recognize how to utilize the land, we had the experience to turn this piece of property into an exclusive development.”
In deciding the best style of homes, we chose lots and individual houses – only sharing costs of the maintenance of the community - instead of building condos or townhomes.
The team loves creating lifestyle communities. James River Commons has both imagination and inspiration that will produce a unique and welcoming neighborhood.
